Description
Report ItemProject description:
1. Professional Mono coil, durable and textured.
2. Super high detection coil, improve detection.
3. Suitable for all kinds of soil.
Mono coils are specially configured for detectors with MPS technology. It uses a hemispherical winding that can both transmit and receive signals. Its induction mode is shaped like a corn, with the addition of a powerful filter, suitable for all kinds of soil. It has the advantage of greater detection depth than double D coils.
A metal detector's Mono Coil and Double-D Coil are two different types of search coils, each with distinct design and performance characteristics. Here are the main differences between them:
Mono Coil
- Structure: The Mono Coil consists of a single coil that functions both as the transmitter and receiver.
- Detection Depth: Generally has greater detection depth compared to Double-D coils, making it suitable for finding deeply buried metal objects.
- Coverage Area: The detection area is a cone-shaped region, resulting in a narrower coverage but higher sensitivity within that area.
- Sensitivity: Higher sensitivity to small metal objects, making it ideal for detecting small metal fragments or gold nuggets.
- Applications: Often used in gold prospecting and treasure hunting.
Double-D Coil
- Structure: The Double-D Coil is composed of two overlapping coils shaped like the letter "D," with one coil used for transmitting and the other for receiving.
- Detection Depth: Generally has less detection depth than Mono Coils but offers a wider coverage area.
- Coverage Area: The detection area is a fan-shaped region, providing broader coverage and better suited for sweeping larger areas.
- Stability: Performs better in mineralized or salty soils, reducing false signals and interference.
- Applications: Suitable for surface searches and covering large areas, such as in archaeological and geological surveys.
Specific Applications
- Mono Coil: Best for targeting deeply buried small metal objects, especially in areas with low soil mineralization.
- Double-D Coil: Ideal for broad area searches and in highly mineralized soils, providing better stability and wider coverage.
Understanding these characteristics and advantages helps in selecting the most appropriate coil for specific metal detecting needs, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the search.
