Electric Dry Fruit and Coffee Bean Roasting Machine

Key Features

  1. Durable Stainless Steel Drum:

    • Constructed from thick stainless steel with excellent heat retention properties.
    • Utilizes conduction, radiation, and convection for stable and even heating of coffee beans.
  2. Asymmetric Agitator Design:

    • Equipped with two low-profile asymmetric stainless steel paddles inside the drum.
    • Prevents uneven roasting by ensuring all beans roll uniformly, eliminating issues like inconsistent roasting seen in flat-bottomed pans.
  3. Low-Noise Motor:

    • Features a low-decibel motor with a rotation speed of 25 RPM.
    • Operates quietly, allowing users to listen to the beans cracking, essential for judging dehydration levels and identifying critical roasting milestones.
  4. Convenient Observation Window:

    • Removable observation window for monitoring bean color and texture during roasting.
    • Perforated stainless steel drum enables efficient smoke venting and rapid cooling, while facilitating easy removal of bean chaff.

Usage Instructions

Step 1: Motor Installation

  • Secure the motor to the base using the provided bolts, aligning the motor shaft and bearing axis to the same height.

Step 2: Drum Installation

  1. Insert the drum’s large shaft end into the motor shaft and tighten the bolts.
  2. Place the drum’s bearing end into the bearing base.
  3. Ensure the motor shaft, drum, and bearing are aligned in a straight line.
  4. Tighten the nuts connecting the motor and the base.

Step 3: Roasting Process

  • Preparation: Preheat the drum to 100°C (212°F) and add 250g of green coffee beans. Control the entire roasting process to last about 25 minutes:
    • 10 minutes for dehydration.
    • Approximately 8 minutes until the first crack.
    • Cool down beans shortly after the second crack begins.

The Roasting Experience

To achieve the perfect roast:

  1. Preheating: Warm the drum to stabilize its temperature. Once it reaches around 70°C (158°F), pause heating temporarily to let residual heat stabilize to 100°C (212°F).
  2. Bean Loading: Add beans into the drum swiftly and close the observation window. Start the drum’s rotation and resume heating with low heat.
  3. Temperature Management: Gradually raise the temperature at a rate of 5–8°C per minute. Pause heating briefly if the temperature rises too fast to avoid scorching.
  • First Crack: Around 10 minutes in, the beans release moisture, accompanied by a shift from grassy to fragrant aromas. The first crack signals the start of active roasting.
  • Second Crack: After a brief pause, the second crack begins with distinct popping sounds, indicating the beans are nearing full roast levels such as Full City or Vienna.

Stopping the Roast:
When the desired roast level is achieved, promptly turn off the heat, remove the drum, and cool the beans quickly to lock in their flavors.

Post-Roast Handling

  • Cooling: Transfer beans to a cooling tray and agitate them to accelerate cooling.
  • Chaff Removal: Shake or stir the beans outdoors or over a sink to remove the remaining chaff.
  • Degassing: Allow the beans to degas for optimal flavor development, experimenting with different times to find your preferred taste profile.

This compact coffee bean roaster ensures an enjoyable and customizable roasting journey, perfect for coffee enthusiasts who value precision and the joy of small-batch roasting.

Your perfect partner for coffee bean roasting experiments

Thick drum made of food-grade stainless steel, with strong heat preservation and conduction ability, can bring stable heating to the beans; the drum is equipped with stainless steel low paddle, eliminating the dead angle of rolling, so that the coffee beans can be rolled and heated to their heart's content.
The low decibel rotating motor with 25r per minute can perfectly meet the baking requirements, and the motor rotation process is almost completely silent. Body stainless steel bracket support, very easy to use, can be used on gas stove, gas stove, electric stove, alcohol lamps and other heat sources, wide range of applications.

We will send the corresponding power plug and voltage according to your country.
