A built-in temperature sensor in the RF handle allows users to track patients’ skin temperature in real-time and to adjust treatment accordingly. Skincare professionals using Apollo Duet can precisely tune all treatment parameters, including the technologies and Derma Boost solutions to be used, the target temperature of skin heating or cooling, intensity of radio frequency (RF) and electrical currents, and polarity of iontophoresis.
By carefully setting all these parameters, Apollo Duet users can tailor the skincare treatment to fit patients’ specific skin condition, personal tolerance level, and the defined therapeutic goals.

The radio frequency handle has a flat (rather than round) head, with widespread layout of 4 electrodes. The flat head enables much better contact with patients’ skin, thus prevents electrical disconnections and uncomfortable (sometimes even harmful) electrical sparks.
Multipolar Radio Frequency (RF)
The Apollo Duet multipolar radio frequency function is extremely effective in anti-aging treatment. The radio frequency currents cause contraction of existing collagen 1 fibers and stimulate production of new collagen and elastin, resulting in a firmer and tighter skin, with better hydration and fewer wrinkles.
The radio frequency handle incorporates a built-in heat sensor, allowing skincare professionals to track patients’ skin temperature in real-time and to adjust their treatment accordingly. This facilitates a very accurate treatment, precisely tailored to patients’ skin condition, and therefore guarantees optimal results. The heat sensor is also a safety mechanism, preventing skin burns.

Electroporation & Iontophoresis
Apollo Duet combines electroporation and iontophoresis simultaneously, to effectively insert therapeutic hydrophilic electrolytes (called Derma Boost) into the skin: Electroporation creates micro-channels in the outer layer of the skin. Iontophoresis effectively disperses the charged particles, inserted through these channels, into the deeper skin tissues.
The Apollo Duet electroporation/ iontophoresis handle can heat patients’ skin up to a temperature of 45ºC. Heating softens and dilates the skin, which significantly improves absorption of the therapeutic Solutions. This handle can also cool patients’ skin to a temperature of -20ºC. Cooling calms the skin, thus enables treatment of problematic skin conditions, that are typically very difficult to treat, including irritated, inflamed, and sensitive skin.
By combining electroporation and iontophoresis, with skin heating or cooling when needed, Apollo Duet offers extremely effective restoration treatment for a wide range of skin conditions, including inflamed acne, dehydrated and irritated skin, pigmentation, seborrhea, rosacea, and couperose.
